Students at Highland High School have opportunities to earn college credit through concurrent enrollment
in approved courses with Purdue University North Central (in Westville)
and Ivy Tech State College. Additionally, Highland High School students
who attend the Hammond Area Career Center (HACC) have the opportunity
to earn concurrent credit as well from a variety of colleges,
universities, and institutes with which the HACC maintains articulation
For 2014-2015, Highland High School plans to offer 27 courses that are eligible for college credit.
Students may also earn concurrent credit by scoring a "3" or higher on an Advanced Placement examination.
goal of Highland High School is to have a minimum of 25% of each
graduating class earning one or more concurrent credits. Below, you will
